Well, that didn’t take long. Only months after leaving his longtime post as the face of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, Jon Stewart made his shocking return to the show last night. After reassuring new host Trevor Noah that he was never going to take back his former job, Stewart spent a few minutes discussing an issue that has been near and dear to his heart for many years: how Congress has repeatedly screwed over 9/11 First Responders. Stewart was a significant force in drawing attention to First Responders health care issues, and looked to continue his work even in retirement.
