The Walking Dead is about to face some major changes as the lead character since the first episode will be leaving the series very soon.
It isn’t known yet which characters in the series will be taking the reigns from the long-standing leading of the group once he’s gone. To many it seems realistic and reasonable for Rick’s right-hand man, and well-known fan favorite Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) to take control.
After facing the complications that Andrew Lincoln leaving will produce, the show has decided the best way to move forwards would be to implement the use of a significant time-jump to smooth over the process of losing the show’s main protagonist.
The story will resume after a large amount of time has passed, and will cover the stories of the remaining groups of survivors trying to live in relative peace together in the apocalyptic world.
