During a recent interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Witcher’s Henry Cavill revealed a small teaser from the upcoming Netflix series, giving us a short but impressive preview of Geralt of Rivia fighting off the Queen’s soldiers. The highly anticipated show, which is based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s book series of the same name, is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on December 20th. The series will also star Freya Allan as Princess Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg, Jodhi May as Queen Calanthe, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson as King Eist Tuirseach, and Adam Levy as Mousesack.
After releasing the first trailer a few weeks back, Netflix has begun to increase its marketing efforts and we’ll likely get a few more short clips like the one below leading up to the show’s debut.
