Sons Of Anarchy

‘Sons of Anarchy’ Spinoff Being Developed By Original Creator

Sons of Anarchy rode free on FX for seven seasons before creator Kurt Sutter finally drew the series to a close with the death of Jax Teller, one of many heartbreaking moments that made viewers a little teary-eyed.

Turns out, Sutter may not be finished with the SoA universe just yet. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Sutter is early development of a spinoff series that will focus on the Mayans Motorcycle Club, the Mexican-American MC that was a rival-turned-partner for the Sons in the original series. The Mayans focused on drugs while the Sons focused on guns.

There has been speculation in the past that a potential spinoff would act as a prequel, bringing fans back to the 60s when SAMCRO was originally founded by John Teller and Clay Morrow, along with seven others. Naturally, the rivalry with the Mayans would probably develop along the way.

The alternative is that the series is set in the present, after the death of Jax. That means a few familiar faces could be involved, like Nero, Chibs, Tig, and Happy.
