Breaking Bad

Some Geniuses Edited the Entirety of ‘Breaking Bad’ Into a Two-Hour Movie

There are a bunch of very good reasons you should watch every single episode of Breaking Bad. Over five seasons and 62 episodes, Vince Gilligan told one of televisions most incredible and engaging stories, of good and evil, and how major life events can change a man forever.

Buuuuuuuuut, if you’re short on time, this amazing fan project is the next best thing.

Lucas Stoll and Gaylor Morestin edited the entire Breaking Bad series down into one two-hour feature film. It obviously cuts out over 95 percent of the original footage, but manages to still tell a convincing story about Walter White and his journey from high school chemistry teacher to criminal mastermind.

“After two years of sleepless nights of endless editing, we bring you… a study project that became an all-consuming passion,” they wrote about their edit on Vimeo. “It’s not a fan-film, hitting the highlights of show in a home-made homage, but rather a re-imagining of the underlying concept itself, lending itself to full feature-length treatment. An alternative Breaking Bad, to be viewed with fresh eyes.”

And even though this shouldn’t be needed for an article about a show that ended four years ago, this video does indeed contain ALL THE SPOILERS. So maybe don’t watch if you haven’t seen Breaking Bad yet. And if you haven’t, what the hell is wrong with you?
