Netflix has debuted the first teaser trailer for the upcoming series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. Based on Jim Henson’s 1982 feature film The Dark Crystal, Netflix’s upcoming series tells the story of three Gelfling who embark on a journey to save the ‘Crystal of Truth’ – the heart of Thra – from the clutches of the evil Skeksis.
Here is the official synopsis:
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance returns to the world of Thra with an all new adventure. When three Gelfling discover the horrifying secret behind the Skeksis’ power, they set out on an epic journey to ignite the fires of rebellion and save their world.
The three Gelflings will be voiced by Taron Egerton (Rian), Anya Taylor-Joy (Brea), Nathalie Emmanuel (Deet).
