The Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to blaze down the tracks at full speed.
Netflix has announced that the highly popular Jessica Jones series has been renewed for a second season. The first season debuted in 2015 to much critical acclaim. The series features a hard-drinking female private investigator played by Krysten Ritter, who happens to have super powers. She battles it out with a bad guy named Killgrave (seriously) who can control people just by talking to them.

Jessica Jones isn’t the only Marvel series to do well on Netflix. Season Two of Daredevil is set to hit the streaming service on March 18. In addition, a full season of Luke Cage will debut in 2016 as well. Viewers who watched Jessica Jones have already met the character Luke Cage, as he had a recurring role in the series. Rumors of a fourth Marvel series, Iron Fist, have been all but confirmed as well. Eventually the four stories will likely combine into one, as Marvel and Netflix introduce us to The Defenders.
In addition to the Marvel news, Netflix also announced the premiere dates for 10 more of their original shows.
