John Krasinski and Steve Carell reunited over the weekend in a mini Office reunion, and it was everything a fan of the beloved sitcom could have hoped. Amid the ongoing public health and safety concerns, Krasinski felt the need to brighten people’s day, so the Quiet Place director took it upon himself to start a new homemade YouTube series called Some Good News and his former co-star was the first guest.

The Office recently celebrated its 15th-anniversary last week (March 24), a topic Krasinski couldn’t’ wait to discuss with his former boss.

“So Steve, this week marked a huge anniversary for you and I. We were on a little show called The Office, and it turned 15 years old this week”

The former co-stars went on to reminisce about behind-the-scene stories, their favorite episodes/moments, and how much they truly miss seeing everyone since the show came to an end.

Check out the first episode of Some Good News below.

Seeing the two stars reunite for the YouTube series was incredibly heartwarming, and we can only hope Krasinski continues to feature Office co-stars in the upcoming episodes of Some Good News. As of publication, Krasinski’s new YouTube show already has more than 250,000 subscribers.

The Office ran for nine seasons from March 2005 to May 2013 and, during that time, was nominated for 42 Primetime Emmy Awards, winning five. Despite the many nominations, Carell never received an Emmy for his hilarious and often cringe-worthy portrayal of Michael Scott. The actor later won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Comedy or Musical for his performance as Regional Manager of the Scranton.

If you’re one of the many people looking to binge-watch while at home, all nine seasons of The Office are available to stream on Netflix right now.
