Ghost Rider Could Be The Next Marvel Superhero Coming to Netflix

After some forgettable movies starring Nicolas Cage, the beloved Marvel character of Ghost Rider has finally returned in a big way. Actor Gabriel Luna has taken up the flaming skull in Season Four of Agents of SHIELD, quickly becoming a fan favorite.

When asked by about the possibility of Ghost Rider spinning off into his own show (or even movie), Luna hinted that early plans are already in place, although he doesn’t care which medium gets used.

I don’t have a preference. People talk about ‘Ah man he’d be great as a feature [film],’ which is an idea too… It could be in the cinema, it could live on Netflix, whatever it is.”

It’s been talked about, there’s definitely deals in place for that potential. But I just take it one day at a time. I have so much fun now I just want to make sure I get these episodes right. If they throw more episodes on my plate, I will do my best to do well with those stories as well.

Almost everything from Marvel’s Cinematic Universe, including a handful of other Netflix series featuring characters like Jessica Jones, Daredevil, and Luke Cage, have been smash hits so far. Maybe Netflix is exactly the right place to undo the wrongs that Columbia Pictures did with those awful first two movies.
