‘Game of Thrones’ Season 8 Trailer Finally Drops and OMG We Are Hyped

With just over a month to go until Game of Thrones returns to TV for it’s long-awaited final season, HBO has finally given us a proper trailer. Forget the short teasers they’ve been drip-feeding us for the past months, this one is the real f**king deal!

With plenty of new footage to drool over, this should keep rabid fans of the hit series satisfied for at least a few days, while internet experts analyze (and probably over-analyze) every single frame of this trailer for clues about what will happen.

We have some comments, but let’s all watch the trailer again first:

Holy crap, that was fun. Maybe watch it one more time before we get into some point form notes. We’ll wait.

Okay, here goes:

-Arya kicks it off by talking about death, which we will surely see a lot of in Season 8.

-We see a fleet of Greyjoy ships, but is that Jaime Lannister on board?

-Bran and Samwell Tarly in the same room, to potentially reveal R+L=J to everyone?

-King’s Landing sporting Lannister banners, as Cersei rules over everyone with Zombie Mountain behind her.

-Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen arrive in Winterfell, and Sansa (and a lot of others) see dragons for the first time in their lives!

-Token appearances by Gendry, Jorah Mormont, Grey Worm, and Missandei (the latter two share a kiss).

-Tormund! He survived the Night King destroying The Wall somehow!

-Cersei biding her time in the Red Keep, waiting for the right time to strike.

-Jaime Lannister promises to fight to fight for the living, turning his back on Cersei (we think?)

-Jon Snow at the Weirwood tree, perhaps learning some important information about his real parents and real name?

-Jon Snow and Daenerys approaching the two remaining dragons. Jon Snow = dragon rider confirmed?

-Tyrion looking worried. But that’s normal at this point.

-A massive army standing in the North as the White Walkers approach. Omgomgomgomgomg!!!!

Sorry everyone, but the world is closed in the evening on April 14. And every Sunday night for the next six weeks after that.
