Better Call Saul

Beloved ‘Breaking Bad’ Character Teased for a Return in Next Season of ‘Better Call Saul’

Via AMC

So far, Better Call Saul has done an excellent job of giving Breaking Bad fans a look at what happened prior to Walter White becoming a meth kingpin.

Although White (Bryan Cranston) and his partner Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) are unlikely to appear in the prequel spinoff about crooked lawyer Jimmy McGill aka Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk), another popular character from the original series could be appearing soon.

AMC just released a strange video that looks like a simple fast food commercial. Except the restaurant chain involved is Los Pollos Hermanos, owned by none other than Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito), the ruthless drug boss from Breaking Bad who used his family friendly chicken eatery as a cover.

This isn’t even the first clue that Fring will eventually appear in Better Caul Saul. There was a cryptic message hidden in the most recent episodes, where if you took the first letter from every episode title, it spelled out “FRING’S BACK.”

Better Call Saul returns to AMC sometime this Spring for its third season. While Fring may not appear in the first episode or anything, expect him to make an impact sooner or later.
