So, have you ever wondered what a human knee looks like after surgery to repair a ruptured patella tendon? Here’s a hint: it’s not good. Zack Ryder unfortunately suffered that very injury while in the midst of actually winning a battle royal that would have given his tag team, The Hype Bros, a shot at the Smackdown Tag Team Titles held by the Wyatt Family. That match, which will take place next week on Smackdown Live, was rebooked as a Fatal 4-Way Elimination match between the Wyatts, the Usos, Heath Slater & Rhyno, and American Alpha, and Ryder, after undergoing surgery this past week, sadly had to watch Smackdown from home this week, with a schedule for his return anywhere from 4 to 9 months from now. While rehabbing, he did take the time to snap a picture of just what his knee looks like right now, and yeah, that’s nasty.
WARNING: THE FOLLOWING PICTURE IS PRETTY GROSS. WE’RE NOT EVEN KIDDING

That is…a lot of staples. Get well soon, Zack!
