Plot Developments

– James Ellsworth’s World Title match was delayed another week due Ellsworth coming down with an illness

– AJ Styles vs Dolph Ziggler for the WWE World Title will take place December 27th, on the final Smackdown of 2016

– John Cena will return in two weeks

– Despite winning the battle royal and a shot at the Smackdown Tag Team Titles, Zack Ryder suffered a knee injury that required surgery, and will be out indefinitely

Plot Developments

– Dillinger, Almas, Strong, and Roode will now compete in a Fatal 4-Way next week, with the winner facing Shinsuke Nakamura at TakeOver: San Antonio for the NXT Title

– Daria Berenato challenged either of Peyton Royce or Billie Kay to a match next week, in revenge for leaving her to take the loss in their six-woman tag match
