WWE Responds To Bullet Club Signing Rumors

The Internet is abuzz over the rumors that WWE has signed several huge free agents, including Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ Styles, and other members of the popular independent stable Bullet Club (which was originally led by Finn Balor before he signed with WWE), and WWE itself has apparently decided to stoke those fires, while still not confirming anything.

Yesterday evening, ran an article titled Are AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows coming to WWE, which run through the credentials of the four individuals who have been at the forefront of the news. The fact that WWE’s own website is openly talking about the rumors would seem to all but guarantee that we’ll be seeing those four former NJPW stars, at the very least, in WWE in some form or other before long.

Earlier today, WWE’s official Twitter account also posted the following:

The current rumor is that WWE is not exactly thrilled that this news leaked, as they may have wanted to use at least one or two of these new signings as surprise entrants in the Royal Rumble.

In other news, on a follow-up show in Japan, AJ Styles was kicked out of the Bullet Club faction, and delivered a speech which seemed to indicate he won’t be returning to NJPW, strengthening the belief that he will be involved in the Royal Rumble in some capacity. You can see video of that here:
