WWE Reportedly On Verge Of Signing Two Huge International Stars

WWE continues to show dedication to building their Women’s Division, both on the main roster and in NXT, and it looks like they might have managed to lure two more high-profile international female wrestlers into the organization. The Wrestling Observer is reporting that both Io Shirai and Kairi Hojo, two of the biggest stars of World Wonder Ring Stardom in Japan (whom, along with Mayu Iwatani, Dave Meltzer himself has called “three of the best wrestlers in the world”), are close to signing contracts with WWE. According to the report, Stardom officials are currently assuming that Shirai is all but gone, although there are questions if Hojo can pass a physical, due to having suffered two concussions in recent years, and she has not yet made a decision. If these reports are true, the women of WWE and NXT will soon find themselves facing some serious competition.
