WWE Raw Match Results – November 28th, 2016

This week, Raw was live from the heart of Flair Country, with two title matches including Charlotte defending the Raw Women’s Title against Sasha Banks. Could Sasha’s streak of beating Charlotte on Raw continue, or would the Queen hold court in her hometown? We’ve got all the results from this week’s episode of Raw right here!

Live from Charlotte, North Carolina

The show kicked off with the Highlight Reel, as Jericho brought out his special guest, Kevin Owens. They mocked the concept of American Thanksgiving and Black Friday, since they are Canadian and therefore superior. They explained that Jericho didn’t interfere last week, it was clearly Sin Cara in a Jericho mask. Their fun was interrupted by Roman Reigns, who sowed seeds of dissension between Jericho and Owens by getting Owens to say that he doesn’t need Jericho. Reigns goaded Owens into a match, and if Reigns wins, he gets a Universal Title match at Roadblock.

Backstage, Jericho and Owens argued, and Jericho claimed he was leaving.

– Braun Strowman d. R-Truth (pinfall, Running Powerslam)

Postmatch, Strowman attempted to choke out Goldust, and was attacked by Sami Zayn. Strowman easily fought off Zayn and destroyed him, before being called off by referees and Mick Foley.

Foley claimed he was trying to save Zayn from himself by refusing to let him have a rematch with Strowman, and Zayn responded that he needed to be saved from Foley, who was clearly a puppet of Stephanie. Foley said Zayn could never beat Strowman, and Zayn took offense, saying Foley was a hypocrite for denying him the opportunity to try.

– Tony Nese d. Cedric Alexander (pinfall, Pumphandle Powerbomb)

Backstage, Jericho attempted to leave, but was attacked by Seth Rollins, who Pedigreed him on top of a car.

– Charlotte vs Sasha Banks for the Raw Women’s Title ended in a Double Count-Out. However, Mick Foley declared the match would re-start later in the evening with No Countout, No DQ, and Falls Count Anywhere.

– Enzo Amore d. Rusev by DQ when Rusev blatantly kicked Enzo in the crotch

Backstage, Titus O’Neal claimed Mark Henry stole his role in the WWE Studios film Incarnate, and got shoved down for his troubles.

– Rich Swann d. Noam Dar (pinfall, Buzzsaw Kick)

At a local bar, Sheamus and Cesaro drank to no longer being required to tag together, since they’re out of title shots. They were mocked by some townies, and proceeded to beat up everyone in the bar.

– Roman Reigns d. Kevin Owens (pinfall, Spear)

In a pre-taped interview, Paul Heyman stated that Brock Lesnar took Goldberg too lightly, and now has something to prove. Lesnar is entered into the Royal Rumble match as a result.

– The New Day d. Anderson and Gallows to retain the Raw Tag Team Titles (Woods pinned Anderson, rollup w/tights)

– Sasha Banks d. Charlotte in a Falls Count Anywhere match to win the Raw Women’s Title (submission, Banks Statement through a railing)

Postmatch, Ric Flair came down and celebrated with Sasha.
