WWE Has Reportedly Changed Their Minds About Who Will Win WWE Title at Survivor Series

Via WWE.com

After the events of Monday’s RAW, we now know who is in contention for the WWE title at Survivor Series. The final four of Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens and Alberto Del Rio (plus the Money in the Bank wildcard of Sheamus) will compete for the vacant championship.

When Seth Rollins first vacated the title due to a major injury, many fans and insiders expected his previous Survivor Series opponent Roman Reigns to easily win the tournament. In fact, the burning question for most wasn’t whether Reigns would win the belt, but whether he turn heel before (or immediately after) winning it.

According to PWInsider, the WWE is strongly considering throwing fans a curveball. They claim an inside source has told them that there is a 70% chance that Dean Ambrose walks away from Survivor Series as the champ. Part of the reason is that they don’t want Reigns to turn heel, especially with babyfaces Seth Rollins and John Cena currently taking time off.
