With WWE likely already celebrating a massive jump in Raw viewership that coincided with the end of football on Monday nights, it’s important to note that Smackdown Live also saw its viewership go up this week. While the blue brand didn’t come close to matching Raw in the numbers, seeing positive trends in the ratings for both weekly shows has to be good news for WWE as they head into the Royal Rumble, the first stop on the Road to WrestleMania.

Overall, Smackdown Live, which featured the first women’s cage match in that show’s history, brought in 2.65 million viewers and a 0.90 rating in the 18-49 demographic, good enough to slide into the top spot among original cable programming for Tuesday night.
