If you have the WWE Network and haven’t been watching the Cruiserweight Classic, we’re not quite sure why you have the Network in the first place. The show, which has been running on Wednesdays after NXT for just over a month, is absolute wall-to-wall fantastic wrestling with a bunch of colorful characters that has to be seen to be believed. The good news is, a lot of people are watching, as the Cruiserweight Classic was the #2 most-watched show on the Network this week, behind only the Stone Cold Podcast that aired after Raw. That’s right, the CWC is getting more viewers than NXT, and you know how much everyone loves NXT.

If you haven’t given the CWC a chance yet, consider this a reminder that you really should. This week’s episode started the second round of the tournament, and featured an absolutely insane match between tourney favorite Kota Ibushi and former Ring of Honor star Cedric Alexander, and it was everything that is right in professional wrestling and a potential Match of the Year candidate. Oh, and It also might have earned Alexander a WWE contract, based purely on the strength of his performance. With the Cruiserweight Division starting up on Raw at some point in the future, it would be good to familiarize yourself with him and the other wrestlers who will likely be appearing on Monday nights very soon.
