Live from Columbia, South Carolina
Your commentary team for 205 Live is Mauro Ranallo, Corey Graves, and, in something of a surprise, Austin Aries
The 205 Live roster were all introduced on the entrance ramp. They are:
– Rich Swann
– TJ Perkins
– Jack Gallagher
– Ho Ho Lun
– The Bollywood Boyz
– Noam Dar
– Tony Nese
– Drew Gulak
– Ariya Daivari
– Cedric Alexander
– Lince Dorado
– Akira Tozawa
– Mustafa Ali,
– Gran Metalik
– The Brian Kendrick
The Bollywood Boyz, a tag team of brothers, got a video package where they talked about how they worked their way up to honor their grandfather, who was their biggest supporter.
– The Bollywood Boyz d. Tony Nese and Drew Gulak (pinfall, Stereo Superkicks)
Noam Dar gets the next video package, talking about being the youngest competitor in the CWC and a perennial underdog. In case you weren’t aware, his name is a combination of “Noel” and “Liam”, because his gimmick from the indies was that of an Oasis superfan. His finisher, which almost certainly won’t be called the “Champagne Super Kneebar”, is highlighted.
– “The Extraordinary Gentleman” Jack Gallagher d. Ariya Daivari (pinfall, Running Corner Kick)
Backstage, TJ Perkins wishes Kendrick good luck, because Perkins figures he might have an easier time getting another title shot if Kendrick retains.
Lince Dorado, a luchador from Puerto Rico, talked about the origins of his name and his introduction to the WWE audience through the CWC.
Rich Swann talked about his rough upbringing, with both his parents passing away before he turned 16, and how wrestling saved his life.
– “The Outlandish” Rich Swann d. The Brian Kendrick to win the WWE Cruiserweight Title (pinfall, Trio of Reverse Spin Kicks)
An emotional Swann dedicates the victory to his deceased mother. Meanwhile, Kendrick claims he lost due to Perkins’ mind games.
