Not only is Carey Price one of the best goaltenders in the entire NHL, he’s also the sheriff when it comes to making sure kids getting special souvenirs. After being named the first star in the Montreal Canadiens’ win over the Dallas Stars on Tuesday night, Price did the customary skate around the ice to salute the fans. He also brought some pucks, which he threw over the glass to few lucky young fans.
At one point, though, a much older fan tried to use his height advantage to snag on the Price’s gifts. With a slight leap, this guy grabbed the puck out of midair and briefly celebrated his catch, before he realized that Price was giving him the look. You know the look. It’s the look you get when your girlfriend asks if you remembered to pick up milk on your way home, when you know damn well that you forgot. Yeah, that look. The death stare.
The puck-catcher took the hint, and sheepishly handed the souvenir to Price’s intended target, a young boy who looks about 7 or 8-years old.
