WATCH: Austin Jackson Makes Catch of the Year

The Red Sox and the Indians played a real slugfest of a baseball game on Tuesday night, with Boston eventually emerging 12-10 winners after a walk-off home run by Christian Vasquez. And that was after ultra-reliable Boston closer Craig Kimbrel actually blew a save in the top of the ninth by giving up a lead off homer to Francisco Lindor and allowing the go-ahead run to score on a wild pitch.

But enough about the end of the game.

Check out this wild catch by Cleveland outfielder Austin Jackson. In the bottom of the fifth, the Indians were clinging to a 7-5 lead when Red Sox slugger Hanley Ramirez smoked towards the famous Fenway Park triangle. Jackson makes a heroic leap to snag the ball, robbing Ramirez of the home run, and ends up crashing into the Red Sox bullpen.

The umpires reviewed the play to make sure Jackson didn’t lose the ball while hurdling over the wall. After the play was confirmed, even the Fenway Faithful were forced to applaud for such a ridiculous grab.
