There’s a reason why pretty much every other channel either had election coverage, reruns, or movies on Tuesday night, because there’s only one thing that America was watching that evening. Unfortunately for WWE, the show must go on regardless, so it shouldn’t be surprising that Smackdown Live had its worst ratings since it aired on Friday nights on SyFy. Overall, the show brought in 1.92 million viewers and a 0.56 rating in the 18-49 demographics, which arguably could have been a lot worse. The show finished 29th among original cable programming for the evening, behind the cable news networks’ coverage of the election.
