Facing stiff competition from the NBA, WWE saw Raw ratings drop to record lows, dragged down by a massive loss of viewers in the third hour. In previous weeks, Raw had managed to maintain or see only slight decline in viewership over the length of the show, but this week’s show saw a huge drop of over half a million viewers after the second hour, dropping below 3 million viewers. It should be noted that Raw was also taped earlier in the day, due to emanating from London, England, and that usually costs WWE somewhat in ratings and viewership as well, due to spoilers being available hours before the show airs. Raw finished #5 in cable originals for the evening, behind the two NBA games, as well as both Love and Hip-Hop and Blank Ink Crew on VH-1. Overall, Raw averaged 3.32 million viewers and a 1.19 demo rating, the least-watched episode of Raw to occur on a night where it wasn’t competing with football.

Hourly Breakdown

Hour 1 (8-9 PM): 3.49 million viewers, 1.24 demo rating
Hour 2 (9-10 PM): 3.54 million viewers, 1.25 demo rating
Hour 3 (10-11 PM + overrun): 2.98 million viewers, 1.08 demo rating
