Stellar Women’s Title Match Gives Raw Ratings Victory

A show built around two title matches, including Sasha Banks once again defeating Charlotte for the Women’s Title in her hometown, in an instant classic Falls Count Anywhere match, not only kept Raw over 3 million viewers, it even managed to bring in better numbers than last week’s post-Survivor Series show. Most importantly, the promise of another Sasha-Charlotte main event kept the majority of viewers tuned in for the entire episode, as all three hours maintained basically the same viewership and demo ratings, losing far fewer viewers in the third hour than normal. Overall, Raw averaged 3.11 million viewers and a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic, good enough for fifth place among original cable programming for the evening.

Hourly Breakdown

Hour 1 (8PM-9PM): 3.16 million viewers, 1.08 demo rating
Hour 2 (9PM-10PM): 3.13 million viewers, 1.09 demo rating
Hour 3 (10PM-11PM + overrun): 3.04 million viewers, 1.08 demo rating
