Smackdown Rating Rises, But Still Can’t Beat Raw

The combination of football, new TV, and the Presidential debate drove Raw to its lowest rating in history, but with fewer obstacles in its way, Smackdown Live managed to rebound slightly from last week’s dip. Overall, the blue brand, which featured a WWE World Title match that had been announced the week prior, brought in 2.34 million viewers and a 0.74 rating in the 18-49 demographic, compared to Raw’s 2.48 million and 0.83, respectively. Despite failing to overtake Raw, Smackdown Live’s news is all still relatively good, as the rating was up, and the show was once again ranked #1 among original cable programming for the evening.
