Noted wrestling fan, journalist, and devoted Boston sports fan (with all that implies) Bill Simmons is known for speaking his mind and making bad jokes, as was the case during Sunday Night Football while attempting to get a dig in on both the commentary team and the poor quality of the game.
I love when Collinsworth pretends that a terrible game with a close score is a great game. It's like Michael Cole selling a Shamus match.

That’s actually a pretty good burn. Unfortunately for Simmons, Sheamus is no stranger to the workings of social media, and he fired back an even better one.
Tru dat. Never a close match when I mangle some poor mutt… Still, Cole could help sell your flagging HBO show & p*ss-poor promo skills? https://t.co/mcQIaNkdQG

Don’t you do it, Sheamus. Don’t you make us love you.
Honestly, though, he should also be a little pissed that Simmons couldn’t bother to spell his name right. Whatever happened to journalistic integrity? Anyway, can’t these two realize that they shouldn’t be enemies? After all, Sheamus is the Celtic Warrior, and Simmons is a die-hard Celtics fan! They’re perfect for each other!
