Shane McMahon Reportedly Accused Of Insider Trading

According to documents posted on the Internet, a lawsuit was filed against WWE’s Shane McMahon in March of 2016, accusing him of insider trading in relation to his You on Demand business venture. According to the lawsuit, Shane McMahon sold controlling shares in the company, then bought and sold shares of common stock within a six month period, while still having information about the financial situation of the organization, and did not return his profits on the sale to the company, as required by law.

If these accusations prove to be true, Shane could be on the hook for over $18,000, which he owes to the company under the short-swing profit rule, as well as other legal complications.
