Those hoping to see that Rousey vs. Holm rematch at UFC 200 in July might have to wait quite a bit longer, as it looks like Ronda Rousey won’t be back in the octagon until November at the earliest, according to recent comments made by UFC president Dana White.
Talking with BigBoyTV, White discussed some upcoming fights and made references to Rousey’s return: “So, Holly Holm will fight Miesha Tate March 5 on the co-main event of Conor McGregor vs. [Rafael] dos Anjos. We haven’t even announced the rest of the card! Wait til you hear the rest! It’s gonna be crazy. It’s gonna be a sick card. So, the winner of that fight will fight Ronda … probably in November.”
While November is quite a long wait to see Rousey’s return, there’s also the possibility that it could be even longer (or not at all) if she lands a few more high profile acting roles. At least there, kicks to the head are simulated.
