Rhyno, Curt Hawkins To Make WWE Returns Source:

For those of us who looked at the Smackdown roster following the Draft and thought it looked a little thin (okay, a lot thin), we’ve got some good news, as it seems like a couple of former WWE wrestlers have agreed to contracts which, as of right now, are expected to see them return as part of the Smackdown brand.

Rhyno is probably the more well-known of the two returning talents, as the final Champion of the original ECW and Master of the Gore has made several appearances on NXT programming over the past year, as well as working as a guest trainer at the WWE Performance Center. He is also a former WWE Hardcore Champion, and is recently made the news when he announced he was running for a spot in the Michigan House of Representatives.

Meanwhile, Curt Hawkins originally debuted as one-half of the Major Brothers tag team alongside the man now known as Zack Ryder. The two were eventually repackaged as a pair of Edge look-a-likes that helped the Rated R Superstar hold onto the World Heavyweight Title, and even earned a single reign as WWE Tag Team Champions before breaking up. Afterwards, Hawkins hung around WWE and NXT in a role as enhancement talent for several years, but was released from his contract in mid-2014 and has worked on the independent circuit ever since.

While plans can always chance, as of now, the expectation is that both Rhyno and Curt Hawkins will return to Smackdown in the next couple of weeks, in order to help fill out the roster.
