Raw Ratings Slip Back Below 3 Million

It looks like it might be a case of “No Goldberg, no ratings” for Raw this week, as without being able to promote a big return (no, Brock showing up after a few months away no longer counts), Raw viewership slipped back downwards, although they still remained higher than they have since the start of the NFL season. Overall the show, which was headlined by a Triple Threat match between Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Chris Jericho, averaged 2.82 million viewers and a 1.01 rating in the 18-49 demographic. To make matters slightly worse, even though Raw heavily promoted both Brock Lesnar and the Triple Threat match for the third hour, viewership steadily declined from the first hour to the third. That was still good enough for fourth overall among original cable programming for the evening, behind Monday Night Football and its post-game show, and Love and Hip-Hop on VH-1.

Hourly Breakdown

Hour 1 (8-9 PM): 2.98 million viewers, 1.07 demo rating
Hour 2 (9-10 PM): 2.81 million viewers, 0.99 demo rating
Hour 3 (10-11 PM + overrun): 2.67 million viewers, 0.96 demo rating
