Raw Ratings Rebound After Holiday Low

After the Fourth of July weekend sent Raw viewership below 3 million, things climbed back over that mark this week, returning to similar ratings as were reported before the holidays. The show, which featured the return of Vince McMahon, who named Shane and Stephanie McMahon as the Commissioners of Smackdown and Raw, respectively, averaged 3.17 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Those numbers were good for fourth overall among Monday night cable originals, behind Love and Hip-Hip Atlanta, The 2016 Hip-Hop Honors, and the MLB Home Run Derby, which took the top spot. In other good news, Raw actually gained viewers from the first hour, and maintained them for the rest of the evening.

Hourly Breakdown

Hour 1 (8-9 PM): 3.04 million viewers, 1.05 demo rating
Hour 2 (9-10 PM): 3.24 million viewers, 1.11 demo rating
Hour 3 (10-11 PM + overrun): 3.23 million viewers, 1.14 demo rating
