Raw Ratings Get Destroyed By Monday Night Football

The NFL is back, and that’s bad news for WWE. Incredibly bad news, as it turned out, as Raw ratings plummeted well below 3 million viewers for the first time since the July 4th holiday show, with none of the hours climbing above that mark, and the show continued to lose viewers throughout the evening. Overall, Raw averaged 2.69 million viewers and a 0.90 rating in the 18-49 demographic, putting it at a lowly fifth overall among original cable programming behind the two Monday Night Football games, the ESPN pre-show, and, of course, Love and Hip-Hop.

Hour 1 (8-9 PM): 2.83 million viewers, 0.95 demo rating
Hour 2 (9-10 PM): 2.72 million viewers, 0.93 demo rating
Hour 3 (10-11 PM + overrun): 2.52 million viewers, 0.86 demo rating
