Raw Ratings Falter Opposite National Championship Game

Facing stiff competition against the NCAA National Championship, Raw featured appearances from Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar, as well as Kalisto winning the United States title from Alberto Del Rio. However, the show predictably dropped in viewership over last week, averaging 3.32 million viewers (down from 3.53 million), a 2.36 overall rating, and a 1.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic. As usual, the show lost a sizable number of viewers after the first hour, but gained a small amount back between the second and third hours. With next week’s Raw the last one before the Royal Rumble Pay Per View, WWE will definitely be trying to reverse the viewership trend, which has been sliding for several weeks.

Hourly Breakdowns

Hour 1 (8PM-9PM): 3.53 million viewers, 1.2 demo rating
Hour 2 (9PM-10PM): 3.2 million viewers, 1.2 demo rating
Hour 3 (10PM-11PM + overrun): 3.22 million viewers, 1.2 demo rating
