Post-Christmas Raw Suffers Expected Ratings Dip

It shouldn’t be surprising, but the Boxing Day episode of Raw was down slightly compared to last week, as not even the power of Braun Strowman combined with Roman Reigns actually defending the United States Title could drag viewers away from holiday celebrations. Overall, the show averaged 2.86 million viewers and a 1.01 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which is actually not the worst rating for the show this December, and good enough for Raw to finish fifth overall among original cable programming for the evening. Next week, with Monday Night Football finished for the year, WWE has to be hoping for a bump in the ratings, so that’s something to keep an eye on going forward!

Hourly Breakdown

Hour 1 (8-9 PM): 2.97 million viewers, 1.06 demo rating
Hour 2 (9-10 PM): 2.88 million viewers, 1.02 demo rating
Hour 3 (10-11 PM + overrun): 2.72 millino viewers, 0.95 demo rating
