NXT TakeOver: Back II Brooklyn Results

It may be SummerSlam weekend, but for WWE’s developmental territory, NXT, it’s more like WrestleMania, as last year’s Brooklyn show set the standard for NXT, and an incredibly high bar to clear. We’ve got the results of the show, which is available right now on the WWE Network, right here, but believe us when we tell you this: If you’re a wrestling fan, you need to watch this show.

Live From Brooklyn, New York

– Austin Aries d. No Way Jose (submission, Last Chancery)

After the match, Hideo Itami ran off Aries when he continued to assault Jose.

– Ember Moon d. Billy Kay (pinfall, The “O” Face)

For those who don’t know, The “O” Face is a top rope corkscrew into a Stunner. Why yes, it is as impressive as it sounds.

– Bobby Roode d. Andrade “Cien” Almas (pinfall, Glorious Bomb)

Bobby Roode’s absolutely #GLORIOUS entrance is one of the many reasons why you should watch this show.

– The Revival d. DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) to retain the NXT Tag Team Titles (Dawson submitted Gargano, Reverse Figure Four)

After the match, Gargano and Ciampa received a standing ovation.

– Asuka d. Bayley to retain the NXT Women’s Title (pinfall, Buzzsaw Kick)

Post-match, Bayley hugged Asuka, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Charlotte, her mom, and superfan Izzy before leaving to a massive ovation. See you on the main roster very soon, Bayley!

– Shinsuke Nakamura d. Samoa Joe to win the NXT Title (pinfall, Kinshasa)
