Jimmy Snuka Murder Trial Delayed

The trial of former WWE Superstar Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka was scheduled to start March 22nd, but has been delayed indefinitely after the judge ruled that Snuka must undergo mental competency testing in order to determine if he is fit to stand trial. Snuka, 72, who is accused of third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter in the death of his girlfriend, Nancy Argentino, in 1983, has reportedly seen his mental and physical health deteriorate significantly since the grand jury indictment was handed down. The District Attorney is claiming that Snuka is more than capable, and is only pretending to suffer from dementia in order to avoid prosecution.

The competency hearing for Snuka is scheduled for March 18th, at which point a new trial date may be determined.
