In surprising news that he’d apparently kept quiet, former WWE announcer Jim Ross announced on Twitter that he’d undergone an inpatient procedure to remove a cancerous skin growth. The procedure was reportedly completely successful, with no trace of the cancer remaining, although it left the WWE Hall of Famer with a number of stitches (and likely a pretty cool scar). Ross made this announcement as part of the #ShowYourGrit cancer awareness campaign, which began this week.
