In an update to the reports from last week that retired Superstar and current WWE road agent Jamie Noble had been stabbed outside the West Virginia trailer park where he lives, we have good news, as Noble is currently in stable condition, and expected to make a full recovery. The former Cruiserweight champion posted a statement on Facebook which confirmed most of the details from the initial reports of the incident:
“I was viciously attacked in my front yard. One coward got out of the car saying I pushed him off the road. I immediately apologize because I was on the road all week and just that night alone I got off work Tuesday night and drove from Cleveland to Princeton so I could have been tired and drifted over the yellow line.”
“In the middle of this madness one coward pulls a knife stabbing me once through the back middle near the spin [sic]. The blade went between my ribs and hit my lung.” Adding, “I still tried to fight back and then they tried to cut my throat. I was able to get them to miss the throat and rip my shoulder open.”
Noble is reportedly offering money for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the people who attacked him. You can find more details on his official Facebook page. He also posted a pair of photos, detailing the extent of his injuries.
