On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, Vince McMahon announced that Stephanie and Shane McMahon would be the Commissioners of Raw and Smackdown, respectively, as part of the brand split. However, they would not be in charge of the day-to-day operation of the show, and next week, are expected to announce General Managers for their shows, because the bureaucracy of WWE isn’t confusing enough already. While nothing has been confirmed, this statement was accidentally posted on the WWE mobile app, before being quickly taken down. You might want to note the headline.

Could Daniel Bryan have accepted a position as an authority figure on Smackdown? If so, that would certainly be a huge coup for the brand, and probably confirm a theory that WWE will load Smackdown with some top fan favorites in order to try and improve its ratings quickly (which also explains why Shane is in charge).
