Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley & More Pay Tribute To WWE Legend King Kong Bundy

On Tuesday the WWE announced that one of the greatest heels of the 80s, King Kong Bundy, has passed away at the age of 61.

Known to family and friends as Christopher Pallies, the New Jersey native was beloved by the wrestling community. Shortly after the news broke, many of Bundy’s friends and colleagues took to social media to express their sadness.

King Kong will always be remembered for the iconic 1986 steel cage match against Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 2 and for having referees count to five, rather than the traditional three, simply to show off his immense strength. The WWE legend also made a guest appearance of the sitcom Married with Children.
