While doing an interview to help promote WrestleMania, John Cena, who is currently out with an injury and at last report, wasn’t expected back until at least July, happened to make this statement:
“If you ask me today, I should’ve been back two weeks ago. I’ve logged almost 400 hours of physical therapy. I got 111 visits in 12 weeks time. I go every single second I can. People say I have a Wolverine-like style of recovery. I was given a nine month quota to come back and after three months I can tell you that I am ready to do anything asked of me possible. It’s a matter of when they call me.””
If John Cena has actually managed to fully heal from major surgery in a third of the time required yet again, we’re going to have to once again make our claim that he is a robot from the future sent back in time to rule wrestling forever. It does beg the question, if Cena has legitimately been ready to go for at least two weeks, why the hell isn’t he wrestling at WrestleMania? Do you think that WWE wouldn’t have found some way to get him a match on what looks like it may actually be the biggest show of all time? We’re not saying he’s lying, but there must be more to this story.
