Even Bayley Thinks She Should Be On The WWE Main Roster By Now

In case you haven’t been watching NXT for the last two years (and shame on you for that), one of the major spotlights of the promotion has been Bayley, one of the original “Four Horsewomen” who did not get called up with Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks a year ago, but stuck around and dominated the NXT Women’s Division. And while Bayley is the type of person who wouldn’t complain if her hair was on fire, following her “one-time” appearance on the main roster at WWE Battleground, it seems that she’s joined the ranks of fans who have been crying out for her to get promoted for a while now. On Chris Jericho’s podcast, Bayley had the following to say about her lack of upwards momentum:

I think I’m getting more towards [frustration]. When they first went up, I was so excited and just like, ‘Dude, I’m just so happy for you guys, if you guys can mold the division and make it easier for me when I get there, like, go for it!’ and I had things I wanted to work on here [in NXT]. But now, I think I’ve done what I can, and especially after WrestleMania and I saw their amazing match and the new Women’s title, I’m like, dude, this is where I need to be. So now, I’m pretty, like, ‘All right, let’s do this!’”

Yes, she really does talk like that in real life, too. It’s endearing, honestly. Hopefully, relief is on the way for Bayley, as the general feeling is WWE may only be waiting for her NXT Women’s title rematch with Asuka at NXT TakeOver: Back II Brooklyn before summoning her to the main roster, especially after the massive reaction she received at Battleground. Whenever it does happen, however, it can’t be too soon for us.
