Former TNA Champion (no, we’re not kidding) Eric Young, who was part of the promotion since almost the very beginning, recently left that company alongside Bobby Roode, becoming a free agent. And while Roode was shown in the audience at NXT TakeOver: Dallas, with rumors flying that his signing was imminent, we hadn’t heard anything about Young. Some felt that the combination of his age and the fact that much of his wrestling career was spent as a comedy character might work against him, but it appears that was not the case, as he made his NXT debut during this week’s TV tapings. We won’t spoil what he did, because we’re nice like that (you can watch the video of his NXT entrance below if you’d like, but it does contain minor spoilers), but as fans of Eric Young, one of the more under-rated talents in wrestling over the last decade, it’s nice to see him getting an opportunity to perform in front of a larger audience.

Seriously, is there anyone left in TNA at this point?
