It’s been a growing trend in recent years, but yes, you can actually bet real money on professional wrestling events. Which is kind of strange, since the results are pre-determined. However, multiple online betting shops will allow nominal wagers (usually $50 maximum) on big wrestling events. And since WrestleMania is the biggest event of the year, Sports Betting Experts have listed some of the early odds for WWE’s upcoming extravaganza.

Here is what they list so far (for those unfamiliar, the minus numbers are favorites and the plus numbers mean an underdog):

FINAL MATCH AT WRESTLEMANIA 34 WILL BE?

Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns: -175
Any Match Featuring The Undertaker: +100
Any Women’s Match: +150

Kurt Angle/Ronda Rousey vs. Triple H/Stephanie McMahon: +250
Any Match featuring Daniel Bryan: +1000
Any Match featuring The Young Bucks: +2500
Any Match featuring Kenny Omega: +5000
Any Match featuring Kazuchika Okada: +10000

A few interesting things to note: They don’t list odds for A.J. Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura or for Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka, two of the bigger matches on the card. They also seem pretty confident that Ronda Rousey’s in-ring debut will end with her putting Stephanie McMahon in a submission hold (she is quite famous for his armbar, after all). Also, I’m really enjoying that 500-to-1 longshot of Kenny Omega showing up.

Right now, Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns is the favorite to main event the card. But with Lesnar potentially leaving the company when it contract runs out the day after WrestleMania, perhaps there’s value on betting on Styles vs. Nakamura or Cena vs. The Undertaker (if it happens) to be the final match.
