Did The Slammy Awards Help Raw’s Ratings?

WWE’s annual Slammy Awards show was not well received from a critical standpoint, but more importantly, did Roman Reigns’ WWE World Heavyweight title win last week draw more viewers this week? The answer, unfortunately, is no. While the viewership numbers were above the terrible ratings WWE has been averaging for the fall, they were down from last week. The good news is, while the viewership began the night lower, there was less of a drop over the three-hour show than usual. WWE finished the night with an average of 3.38 million viewers and a 1.14 rating overall in the 18–49 demographic, good for fourth overall on the night for original cable programming.

Here’s the full hourly breakdown:

Hour 1 (8pm-9pm): 3.44 million viewers, 1.16 demo rating
Hour 2 (9pm-10pm): 3.37 million viewers, 1.11 demo rating
Hour 3 (10pm-11pm): 3.32 million viewers, 1.15 demo rating
