Could WWE Be Planning A Network Price Hike?

According to a recent fan survey, there’s a possibility that WWE might be looking to increase the monthly price of the WWE Network, from the affordable (say it with us) $9.99 to as high as $12.99. Okay, obviously that’s not a huge increase, especially for the largest online archive of professional wrestling in the world, every WWE Pay Per View, original programming, and of course, NXT, but we’re sure someone might be upset by it. And for them, we have good news! The survey asking about the price hike actually asks if fans would be willing to pay an additional price in order to have new episodes of Raw and Smackdown uploaded 24 hours after they air, as opposed to the current one month waiting period. We’re not sure what WWE’s lucrative TV contract would have to say about that idea, but that is definitely something we think fans might be willing to pay extra for.

The question is, would this be a price hike across the board, or would the WWE Network adopt some sort of tiered subscription system? Either way, it’s something to watch out for in the upcoming months!

And just for fun, we thought we’d run a little survey of our own! Take a second and let us know what you think:
