Woman Spends Life Savings on Powerball Tickets, Starts GoFundMe Campaign To Get It Back

A fool and their money are soon parted, or so they say.

Meet Cinnamon Nicole, who was so sure that she was going to win Wednesday’s $1.5 billion Powerball jackpot that she allegedly spent her life savings buying tickets. But surprise! She did not win (chances were 1 in 292.2 million) and now she’s apparently broke. Of course, rather than suffer through her own stupidity, Nicole decided to do what any sane lottery addicted person would do — ask strangers on the internet for help.

Nicole started a GoFundMe page, begging for donations:

Please help me and my family as we have exhausted all of our funds. We spent all of our money on lottery tickets (expecting to win the 1.5 billion) and are now in dire need of cash. With your small donation of at least $1.00, a like and one share, I’m certain that we will be able to pick ourselves up from the trenches of this lost and spend another fortune trying to hit it big again! PLEASE, won’t you help a family in need. DONATE NOW.

Not only does she ask for money because she spent it all, but she openly admits that she will take the money and “spend another fortune trying to hit it big again!” This chick has some nerve!

She managed to raise about $800 before GoFundMe decided the page violated their Terms of Agreement and shut it down. For anyone wondering, the next Powerball jackpot is $40 million. Wonder if Nicole has her sights set on that (much smaller) grand prize.
