The Detail In This LEGO Star Wars Cloud City Set Is Incredible

With all the Star Wars LEGO out there, it’s kind of surprising that it’s taken this long for a proper Cloud City set to materialize. But even if you’re not really into collecting and building LEGO, it’s hard not to be impressed by how much work has been put into the upcoming set inspired by Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back.

IGN got an exclusive look at the Betrayal at Cloud City set, which is available to LEGO VIP members starting Sept. 13 and goes into wide release on Oct. 1. Containing 2,812 pieces and 18 minifigures including Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Boba Fett, the set is divided into 4 distinct sections depicting iconic scenes from the film, including landing platform for Boba Fett’s Slave I ship (which also comes with the set), a sensor balcony for Luke and Vader’s epic lightsaber duel and, of course, the carbon freeze chamber.
