An Algerian man is taking the completely logical and understandable step of suing his wife for fraud after discovering that she (gasp!) looked different without makeup.
In perhaps the greatest cautionary tale for ‘actually getting to know your significant other before marrying them’ possible, the new husband woke up the morning after his wedding night to discover a stranger in his bed. After considerable investigation, the man deduced that the mystery woman lying next to him was actually his wife, who he didn’t recognize because he had never seen her without makeup before.
Rather than just accept the fact that women will look different depending on what they put on their face, the man did the only sensible thing possible in such a situation, deciding to sue his wife for fraud and ‘psychological suffering’.
According to an unnamed source, “He said she looked very beautiful and attractive before marriage, but when he woke up in the morning and found that she had washed the makeup off her face, he was frightened as he thought she was a thief.”
If men can sue women for not wearing makeup, does that mean that women can counter-sue them for leaving the toilet seat up?
